MBIZDEV ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. By using mbizdev.com (the "Site") or contacting us through any of our channels you agree to the terms below.

Who we are

Information we collect
We only collect the information you choose to give us. That includes the name, email address, message and any context you submit through the contact form, the chat widget, or by writing to us directly. The chat widget also stores a randomly generated identifier in your browser so we can keep the same conversation across page reloads.

How we use your information
We use the information you submit to reply to your inquiry, scope a possible project, send you the materials you asked for, and keep a record of our communication. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use it for advertising.

Cookies and analytics
The Site uses a small number of strictly functional cookies and local storage entries — for example, your selected language and theme, and the chat conversation identifier mentioned above. We do not load third-party advertising or cross-site tracking pixels.

Third-party services
We use Chatwoot to power the chat widget. When you send a chat message, the message and the contact details you provide travel to our self-hosted Chatwoot instance. We use industry-standard cloud and email providers to host the Site and exchange messages with you. These providers process your data only to deliver the service we contract them for.

Data retention
We keep contact and chat history for as long as the conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you reach out again. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing joel.vegas@mbizdev.com.

Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you, request a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific data-protection rights (for example GDPR in the EU or Colombia's Law 1581), those rights apply to you in addition to the ones above.

Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Significant changes will be highlighted on the Site.
